For many of us living in western countries, winter means winter walks, skiing trips, big fluffy jackets with a woolly hat and hot coffee/chocolate from Starbucks or Costa. Unfortunately, for millions of Muslims across the world winter adds further problems to their lives. For families, life is already very tough in camps, temporary shelters, and brick & mortar houses and winter brings another challenge for them i.e. how can you protect the young and the elderly from the harshness of winter.

As part of our Winter Emergency Appeal, we are asking our brothers and sisters whom Allah has blessed with wealth to help us protect families in Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, Yemen, Gaza, Afghanistan and Syrian Refugee Camps.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Humanity Care Relief receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. WINTER APPEAL AFGHANISTAN

WINTER APPEAL YEMEN

Winter or no winter – in Yemen, a child dies every 10 minutes from preventable causes. Since 2015, this beautiful country has been edging towards becoming a human tragedy. 80% of Yemen population is in urgent need of humanitarian aid. As part of its Yemen Humanitarian Crisis Appeal and Yemen Emergency Appeal, Humanity Care Relief has been delivering food and water aid to hundreds of Yemeni families. However, this is not enough. Winter will bring its own challenges. Over 6 million Yemenis are refugees within their own country living in tents and tarpaulin shelters. The only thing which will get them by this winter is layers of clothing and nutritional food.

This winter we will be distributing winter blankets, winter clothing and food packs among the poor and needy Yemeni families. But to do it throughout the winter we need your support. The world might have forgotten about the plight of Rohingya Muslims but Humanity Care Relief hasn’t. We will continue our support for the poor and needy in Bangladesh in particular Rohingya Muslims living in Cox’s Bazaar refugee camps.
