Save the Children of al-Aqsa Living in Baqa’a Camp

Since 1968 over 120,000 Palestinians have been pushed out of their homes and forced to take refuge in neighbouring Jordan. This camp is officially recognised by United Nations. Unfortunately, like any refugee camp, Baqa’a is no different. The conditions in the camp are extremely tough.

Due to its age Baqa’a is in better condition than many refugee camps from around the world. However, camp is a camp, it’s not like home. With no economy to support such a large number of people, all refugees are heavily dependent on international aid. Our aim is to continue to provide regular aid to the families so at some point in the future they might be able to take the step and move back to the holy land of Palestine.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Humanity Care Relief receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. Feed the Palestinian Refugees in Baqa’a Camp

Humanity Care Relief’s team is on the ground in Baqa’a providing life-saving food. The main diet of Palestinians living in Jordan is bread. They are crying out for bread. Let us feed our Palestinian brothers and sisters especially during Ramadan.

We are working with local bread factories providing jobs for locals and feeding the Palestinian refugee families. We are also providing regular food packs for families struggling to survive. Our food packs and bread project not only provide nutritional food but it brings happiness and joy as family doesn’t have to wonder campsite to campsite in search of food.
