Feed the Fasting This Ramadan
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast, he will have the reward equal to his (the fasting person), without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of the fasting person. (Tirmidhi)
How Mothers are Coping With Food Insecurity?
Story of Leena
Leena from Gaza is a mother of 4 children.
She doesn’t have a regular income. This is the reason why she cannot afford many basic commodities.
She doesn’t have enough money to buy enough food to feed her orphaned children.
She completely depends on aid from Muslim Charities as well as help from family and friends.
I and my children love Ramadan.

During Ramadan and on every special occasion children miss their father. He used to buy them toys, new clothes and give eidi on every Eid.
However, things haven’t been the same since his death.
This Ramadan, we’ve received a food pack and financial support from Humanity Care Relief.
This will make Ramadan much easier for us, as we won’t have to worry about food and we can concentrate on our Ibadah.
I and my children are extremely thankful to everyone who helped us and thousands of families like ours.
Brothers & sisters this is just one story from Gaza, we have millions of stories like Leena’s in Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Gaza, Kashmir, and Africa.
We know it is not possible to help every single person in need but we can start from somewhere, Insha’Allah this Ramadan has brought us an opportunity to help over 5,000 families across the world. Together, we can bring comfort and happiness to their lives
