Sadaqah Jariyah for You & Your Loved Ones

Humanity Care Relief is helping Fountains of Knowledge raise funds to pay-off the Qarz-e-Hassana, improve the facilities in their current schools and set up boys high school in the future.

These schools are a means of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous rewards) for you and your loved ones. Therefore, even when we leave this world, i.e. as long as the institute is running you will continuously get the rewards of the teaching of the Quran, Hadith, and Fiqh. As well as helping society become better by learning secular education.

Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Humanity Care Relief to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Humanity Care Relief we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Humanity Care Relief to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Humanity Care Relief will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Humanity Care Relief receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

Help us build the future generations

Quality education at any school requires sufficient income through tuition collections, regular donations, investments, and savings. Fountains of Knowledge operates one nursery and two full-time Islamic School facilities in Nelson, Lancashire. After purchasing the building for school expansion, we are facing many financial challenges, therefore we need your support to continue providing the high standard education.

Why do we need your help?

Over the years, we have relied on our local community which was able to get us so far Alhamdulillah. However, to maintain our high standard and complete our future projects we need help from the extended community like you. Your support is essential to help us grow and succeed in taking Fountains of Knowledge Schools to the next level, by nurturing our next generation to become leaders, Teachers, Engineers, Doctors, etc.

Fountains of Knowledge – Islamic Education Charity

Fountains of Knowledge is a registered charity that was established in the mid-1990s to provide beneficial Islamic Knowledge, education and services to the local community. It is based in Nelson, Lancashire. Our charity is made up of a representative mix of the society in which we live. The trustees and management team, all of whom are volunteers, ranging from industry professionals to company directors.

Edenfield Nursery

In September 2018, we opened a new nursery for 2 and 3-year-olds. The number on roll has already reached 90. The nursery covers the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, as well as introduces the children to the Quran, Arabic, and daily supplications.

Al-Ikhlaas Primary School

The history of the school dates back to 1999 when we started teaching 4 children on a part-time basis in a house. As the numbers grew, we moved into another house, then a mosque, then a bookshop and flat. Realising we could no longer cater for so many children on a part-time basis, we started looking for a building for the school.

In 2007, we purchased and renovated an old disused warehouse for £500,000. We opened Al-Ikhlaas Primary School in 2010 with 30 children. The school has continued to develop over the years and has reached its full capacity of 160 children, with a long waiting list. In 2017, The school was judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. We have a comprehensive Islamic study, Quran and Arabic curriculum.

Edenfield Girls High School

We purchased a new building in 2015 and after refurbishment, we opened a girls’ high school in September 2019 with 1 year 7 class with the aim of taking on a new year group every year. The girls are taught the national curriculum as well as Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies.

Sadaqah Jariyah (Why donate for this project?)

Our charity is operated by volunteers and committed founders of the charity who do not take any payments. Therefore 100% of your donations will go towards the school and dawah projects. The charity is unique because we have hundreds of children in our schools who are reciting the Quran, performing wudu, praying and learning about Islam every day, as well as doing the adhan and reading Sura al-kahf on Fridays.

The numbers are more than in most mosques and therefore your donations can have a much greater reward as so many children are performing these good deeds every day.

Our Future Plans

We have purchased a new building next to our high school which makes the whole site 10,000sqm (the size of a football pitch!). This is an exciting opportunity for us to grow our services for the Muslims and the community with excellent education facilities, mosques, youth centre, Islamic lectures, Quran and Arabic Classes, and much more InshaAllah.
