Story of Stateless Rohingya Muslims

All their life Rohingya Muslims have faced violence, persecution, and hatred. As a citizen, they were never accepted by Burma and when they fled from the violence in 2017 no other neighbouring country was willing to offer them an adequate refugee. This crisis is completely manmade and there is only one party to blame and that is Myanmar Government & Military.

This crisis started when the Myanmar military started a large-scale campaign of killings, rape, arson, and other abuses against Rohingya Muslims. This caused one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises in Bangladesh. Myanmar’s failure to take any meaningful actions to address either these atrocities against the Rohingya Muslims or the decades-long discrimination and repression against Rohingyas is at the root of delays in refugee repatriation.

Right now, nearly a million Rohingya Muslim Refugees are living in Bangladesh Refugee Camps. The condition in those camps is inhumane and at the same time, these people do not have enough food to eat. Humanity Care Relief is working in the hear Rohingya refugee camp, we are providing food packs for families living in tents and cooking hot meals for individuals and volunteers working to help other Rohingya refugees. What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Humanity Care Relief receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

Rohingya Emergency Appeal

Over 400 people are missing and over 45,000 are displaced from their already inhumane migrant camps. Rohingya Muslims are going through the toughest time of their lives. Nearly half a million, Rohingya Muslims are living on a small piece of land in Bangladesh with no water, food, or hygiene. The conditions in these camp cities are completely inhabitable but the Rohingyas are unable to change their situation. Charities working to help them are also restricted in what help they can provide.

However, what we can do is provide them with food to eat and water to drink. Humanity Care Relief has a team on the ground in Cox’s Bazar and they are distributing emergency food parcels among the affected families. Donate a food parcel today and help your brothers and sisters in need.
