Gaza Emergency Appeal

Life is always on the edge in Gaza and Palestine.

Violence could erupt any minute without any warning. Thousands could lose lives, livelihoods and homes within the space of a few hours. The people of Gaza need our continuous support. Ramadan or outside Ramadan, as Muslims it is our duty to take care of our brothers and sisters in Gaza.

What did we see in Gaza last Ramadan?

Wallahi, in our over 10 years of charity work, we have not seen anything like this. Shere brutality, merciless torture, and absolutely no care of international laws. The people of Gaza & Palestine are facing some of the world’s worst brutality at the hands of Israeli Forces. Any minute an airstrike can kill dozens of innocent females, children & the elderly.

Now is the time to help Gaza and its people.

Donate for HCR’s Gaza Emergency Appeal and help us provide food & shelter aid for our brothers and sisters in need.

Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Humanity Care Relief to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Humanity Care Relief we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Humanity Care Relief to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Humanity Care Relief will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Humanity Care Relief receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

Gaza Crisis Appeal

In 2020/21 most of the world experienced what it is like to live in a lockdown. Unfortunately, over 2 million Palestinians have been living in a lockdown for over a decade. Freedom is a basic human right of every human being and the people of Gaza have been denied this basic right for a number of decades. Just put yourself in the shoes of an average man, woman or child living on the Gaza strip, what future do you have, what future your country has, the reality is it’s darkness everywhere. No job, no education, no food and no water, what is the purpose of life on the Gaza Strip.

Life in Gaza

Gaza is one of the world’s poorest places to live. Due to the blockade, there are hardly any jobs, any business opportunities for a person to feed his family. Over 75% of Gazans are heavily dependent on foreign aid. More than 50% of Gazans go to bed hungry every night.

Alhamdulillah, Allah has given us an opportunity to work inside Gaza. We are providing food and water aid to hundreds of families. This is your chance to gather great rewards. Sponsor a food pack and feed a family for a month.

Gaza Food Appeal

Gaza strip is an open-air prison. With limited access to the outside world, the people of Gaza cannot even access the basic necessities of life. All Gaza food comes from abroad. The world is silently watching the disaster becoming a catastrophe in front of their own eyes.

HCR is on the ground, working tirelessly to protect vulnerable families in Gaza and Palestine. We need your help to continue providing life-saving supplies to these families. Please donate today.

Why do we need to help the people of Gaza?

  • Israel has blocked Gaza from the rest of the world by stopping their access through air, sea and land
  • Nearly 2 million people, out of which 50% are under 18s are living in an open-air jail
  • 38% of Gazans are living in extreme poverty
  • Over 75% of Gazans are heavily dependent on foreign aid
  • More than 50% of the population of Gaza go to bed hungry every night

What can we do?

  1. Make dua for our brothers & sisters in Gaza and Palestine
  2. Raise our voice in every forum to let the world know about the plight of Gazans
  3. Donate as much as we can to provide food and water aid for the people of Gaza
